The granite air flotation platform is a high-precision working platform that combines the excellent properties of natural granite and air flotation technology. It is widely used in industrial research, testing and other fields.
The granite air flotation platform utilizes air flotation technology. By generating a uniform airflow at the bottom of the platform, a layer of air film with a thickness of approximately 15μm is formed, creating a non-contact suspended state between the platform and the supporting surface. This design enables smooth movement without friction or vibration, providing high-precision motion control.
Granite air-floating guide rails have the following advantages over ordinary rolling guide rails:
1.The guide rail surfaces are lubricated by gas, and its friction coefficient is extremely small (about 0.0005), so the driving power can be greatly reduced. The power requirements for the driving components have been significantly reduced, and the cost and thermal impact will also be greatly decreased accordingly!
2. As it is non-contact friction, the guide rail wears very little, has a long service life, can maintain manufacturing accuracy for a long time, and reduces maintenance workload.
3. The air film has an error homogenization effect and can improve the motion accuracy of the guide rail.
4. The thickness of the air film is almost unaffected by speed. Even at extremely low speeds, there will be no crawling, and the movement is smooth.
5. It generates almost no heat, does not cause viscosity changes, and requires no additional cooling measures
